A Simple Understanding of the White Card Sunshine Coast
Don’t be fooled — there’s only one White Card course, and you’ll take it in the state where you reside. Regardless of whether you’re a laborer, tradesperson, engineer, truck driver, or someone with no work experience at all, everyone takes the same course. Once you’ve completed it, your White Card is valid across Australia, eliminating the need to redo the course if you relocate. Whether you are an Australian citizen or hold any other visa type, you’re eligible to enrol in our White Card course on the Sunshine Coast. If you’re in QLD, note that three specific conditions apply. See below:
- 13 years of age or older
In Queensland you must be 13 years of age or older to register and complete training for the White Card course.
- Attain a USI number
A USI number is easy to get. It is required if you do a course in Australia regardless of age or status. If you are in Australia you can get one HERE (we can assist with helping you attain your USI after you book your course).
- Must bring 3 forms of ID
In QLD it is essential you meet the WorkSafe QLD ID requirements. Read about the ID requirements in Queensland HERE

This is an official white card course. Get your Construction Induction Card on the same day so you can work immediately. You must bring the correct ID to the class to avoid re-booking. Read the FAQ below for the requirements.

What is the ID requirements for the White Card in Queensland?
Identification Requirements for White Card in Queensland
To keep it simple. You need 3 official forms of ID. This can include bank cards etc but you do need one form of government issued photo ID. Read the ID Requirements below for specific information. If you are a student on in Australia on a visa, you have different ID requirements
In Australia on a Visa – If you are in Australia on a VISA you can use your overseas government ID but you must also bring a copy of your visa and passport (can be printed or in PDF on your phone)
Student in High school – You can use your school ID and one document in category A or B below
ID Requirements (essential that it is in original format and not photos): RTO must sight, three matching, original, evidence of identity (EOI) documents before undertaking GCIT. Please see the list of acceptable documents below. Please note that it is essential for your ID to be original and from Australia (your passport can be foreign).
The EOI documents must comprise either: • One (1) Category A document and two (2) Category B documents, or • Two (2) Category A documents and one (1) Category B document.
At least one Category A document must be photographic and show the person’s full name.
At least one Category A or B document must show the person’s date of birth and signature.
Category B documents must be Australian-issued documents.

• Australian Birth / Bicentennial Birth Certificate (born in 1988) – full (not Extract or Commemorative Certificate)
• Australian Citizenship Certificate / Naturalisation Certificate
• Department of Home Affairs (DHA) – Certificate of Evidence of Resident Status – Visa Evidence Card (with PLO56 Visa)
• Queensland or Federal police officer photo identity card. Current
• Australian passport
• Australian Certificate of Identity, Document of Identity, Titre de Voyage, Document de Voyage
• Foreign passport
• Australian photo driver licence
• Queensland Government issued photographic high risk work licence
• Queensland Accreditation / Authorisation: driver/rider trainer; pilot/escort vehicle driver; dangerous goods driver; tow truck driver/assistant; traffic controller; passenger transport driver (bus, taxi, limousine). Current or expired less than two years
• DHA – ImmiCard; Temporary or Resident Visa; Document for travel to Australia. Note: Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) is not accepted. Valid up to five years after issue • Queensland Card 18+ (laminated). Issued after 01/01/1992

Is this an official Queensland white card accepted nationwide?
You need to be careful as there are a lot of scam white card courses out there that are not official and not approved by the Australian government or the QLD government (Work Safe QLD). If you want peace of mind, you can check our approval on the Australian government websites below.

What do I need to bring to a white card course?
To attend a white card course, the most crucial item to bring is the specific ID requirements mentioned above for White Card QLD.
Apart from the required identification, you only need to bring yourself and a positive attitude. All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), pens, and papers will be provided at the venue on the day of the course.
Feel free to bring a packed lunch or you can explore nearby local shops during your breaks throughout the day.

How do I find the venue on the Sunshine Coast
The Venue is easy to find. We are in Venue 114 in Bokarina. When you get to venue 114 go in the main entrance. go up the set of stairs to level 1. Once on level 1 follow the signs to Training Room 5

Parking and Transport
There is plenty of all day parking at the venue on Sportsman Parade. The nearest bus stop is Nicklin Way at Kawana Waters High School. To find us take the main entrance and head up the stairs and lok for signs to Training Room 5. If you have any issues finding us you can ask the reception staff or give us a call.
