Instructions clear to venue however parking was proved a little difficult for duration of course. Instructor (Rob/Roberto) made a typical boring course into a very fun and educational class. Remained professional while providing sense of humour, enthusiastic about educating and overall best instructor. 10/10 would recommend.

I had the privilege of being taught by Garo in a white card induction program, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. Garo's teaching style, practical examples, and ability to make the content fun were exceptional. Their expertise and enthusiasm created an engaging learning environment that made the program truly memorable. I highly recommend Garo as an instructor. Five stars!

Sam was a wonderful instructor, very approachable and informative and able to make a seemingly boring course entertaining. Great use of videos with interesting storyline’s to keep focus. The course room was clean and tidy. The allocated breaks appropriate and long enough.

Exemptions:

Exemption One: Arrived in Australia Less Than 6 Weeks Ago

If you have arrived in Australia within the past six weeks, you can use your passport or visa along with a bank card or driver’s license from your home country. For example, you could bring a passport and a bank card from your country of origin, and that would fulfill the ID requirements. If you don’t have a passport, you could use your visa and a bank card from your home country.

Exemption Two: Still in High School

If you are currently enrolled in high school, you can use your school ID as identification. If you don’t have a school ID, you can choose from the following options: driver’s license, birth certificate, passport, or citizenship certificate. You only need one thing.

Exemption Three: Identify as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander

If you identify as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander and do not have enough ID to meet the 100 points requirement, you can present two official references from relevant agencies. For further information on this exemption, please contact us via email at admin@nwcc.edu.au or by phone at 1300 988 181.

It is essential to bring the correct ID requirements with you. This is one of the most important parts of the class. Please see our requirements sections, if you are unsure about what is needed and ensure you have the necessary ID for the course. If you didn’t provide your USI during enrolment, you will also need to bring that with you.

Apart from that, just bring yourself and a good attitude, and you are sure to leave with a white card, ready to work in construction. You only need to wear normal comfortable clothes and shoes; there’s no requirement to wear or bring any construction clothing or PPE to the class. Everything you need will be provided at the venue for use on the day.

The venue is relatively simple to find. If you’re on High Street at the given address, you’ll spot the underground station. To the right of this station, between Subway and Cash Converters, there’s a flight of stairs. Ascend these stairs and you’ll find our shop where we conduct the White Card course.

Location:

Suite 9 513-519 High St, Penrith NSW 2750 (positioned above the Subway shop on High Street)

Telephone:

(02) 4744 2738

Parking:

All-day parking is accessible at the nearby Judges Car Park on the top level, which is within a 200-metre radius from the venue. As all-day parking can prove difficult, we advise using the top level of Judges Car Park, as it consistently has spaces available.

Train:

The venue is a two-minute stroll from Penrith train station.
