• What do I need to bring with me on training day?

Bringing the correct ID is essential. It’s one of the most important requirements on the day.

Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.

If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to bring that with you.

Other than that, just bring yourself and a positive attitude.

You’re not required to wear or bring any construction gear or PPE — standard, comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are fine.

All necessary equipment and materials will be provided at the venue.

You’ll be fully prepared to complete your course and walk away with your official White Card immediately after you have finished.

• How do I find the Gold Coast venue?

The Venue is easy to find.

We are at the H2O Building in Southport.

If you go to 15 Welch St, Southport you will clearly see signage with our logos.

We are a shop front on ground floor facing the street.

We are between the computer shop and the lawyers.

• Parking & Transport?

There is paid street parking available on Welch Street for $10.00 for the entire day.

If you find that parking is unavailable on Welch Street, simply loop around the block, as the same parking conditions apply throughout the surrounding area.

  PUBLIC TRANSPORT

For those using public transport, our venue is conveniently located just a short 9-minute walk from both Southport Station and Southport South Station.

We are situated between the two stations, making either one equally accessible.

• Do you have after hours courses or other course dates?

If you’re after an evening or after-hours course, we run these sessions at our Brisbane City CBD location.

We also offer White Card courses at 6 convenient locations across Brisbane and South East Queensland.

You can view all venues and upcoming dates in one place on our QLD White Card page.

• Can I get RPL for this course?

We do not offer RPL for any White Card online courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the White Card course to get a White Card.

• Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

You don’t need to be fluent in English to do this White Card course in Gold Coast. A basic level is fine as long as you can follow along, understand safety instructions, and communicate with your trainer.

That means being able to read simple signs and short texts, write basic answers on forms, and follow verbal instructions during the session. A bit of basic numeracy helps too, like reading times or simple measurements.

If English is your second language, that’s completely fine. Just make sure you’re comfortable enough to participate and take in the safety content.

If you require LLN assistance, please let us know before booking. We may be able to offer support, make reasonable adjustments, or recommend alternative options.
