• What is the 100 points of ID that I need?

  If you are doing the White Card in Parramatta, you are required to provide 100 points of ID. All documents must be original and issued in Australia. (Your passport may be from overseas.) Digital licences (e.g. Service NSW app) are accepted. If you are new to the country (been here less than 6 weeks) or a high school student, please scroll down as you are exempt from the 100 points.

  ImmiCards CAN NOT be used unless they are approved by SafeWork NSW directly. Please email us 48 hours in advance of your course if you seek approval to use an ImmiCard.

   

  Note: You must include at least one photo ID (e.g. passport, driver’s licence, photo card) your address and signature across the IDs used.

   

  Who’s Exempt from 100-Point ID?

  You do not need to present 100 points of ID if you fall into any of these categories:

  • New arrivals (in Australia for less than six weeks)

  • Current high school students

  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

  Exemptions in Detail

  1. New Arrivals (Less Than 6 Weeks)

  Bring:

  • Passport or visa

  • Bank card or driver’s licence from your home country

  2. Current High School Students

  Bring either:

  • Your school ID

  • One of: driver’s licence, birth certificate, passport, or citizenship certificate with evidence you are in school. You must show the trainer you are still enrolled. This could be by logging in to your school portal. If you are unable to provide evidence you are in school, you need to provide 100 points.

  3. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Applicants

  If you lack sufficient ID, provide two official references from recognised agencies.

• What do I need to bring with me on training day?

  Make sure to bring the correct ID. One of the most important requirements on the day.

  Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.

  If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to bring that with you.

  Other than that, just bring yourself and a positive attitude.

  You’re not required to wear or bring any construction gear or PPE. Standard, comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are fine.

  All necessary equipment and materials will be provided at the venue.

  You’ll be fully prepared to complete your course and walk away with your official White Card immediately after you have finished.

• How do I find the Parramatta venue?

  The venue is located at 79 George St in Parramatta. When you arrive at the building, you’ll see glass sliding doors. Proceed through these doors and head towards the lift. Once you reach the lift, select level 6. Upon exiting at level 6 you will see the training room.

• Parking & Transport?

  The venue is a 5 minute walk to Parramatta train station.

  Parking:

  We recommend taking the train if possible. However, should you require parking, there’s a car park located at Parramatta Station that charges $15 for the day.

  Train:

  The venue is a 5 minute walk from Parramatta train station.

• Do you have after hours courses or other course dates?

  If you’re after an evening or after-hours course, we run these sessions at our Sydney City CBD location.

  We also offer White Card courses at convenient locations across Sydney and regional NSW.

• Can I get RPL for this course?

  We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the White Card course to get a White Card.

• Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

  You don’t need to be fluent in English to do this course. A basic level is fine as long as you can follow along, understand safety instructions, and communicate with your trainer.

  That means being able to read simple signs and short texts, write basic answers on forms, and follow verbal instructions during the session. A bit of basic numeracy helps too, like reading times or simple measurements.

  If English is your second language, that’s completely fine. Just make sure you’re comfortable enough to participate and take in the safety content.
