My white course was a worth wile experience I’m glad I signed up for, not just for the white card but for the important knowledge I learned. The instructor was amazing, instead of treating us as if where employees on the job site treated us like site managers Wich was great

White card course is great value; the trainer was precise articulate and concise with the course information, delivering it in a way that everyone can relate to and understand. Garo sprinkled in humour that had me chuckling often, which kept us interested and focused.

Convenient and great service, instructors Sam and Goro made sure everyone in the class passed the qualification that day, they also made a comfortable friendly environment were people could ask questions to the room, myself being at a difficult crossroad in a career change was able to bounce questions and ideas amongst them and have advice from people who have worked in the industry amongst different trades, great for young people just starting or looking at construction as a mature career choice. I felt I left the course with more that my white card but also insight into what it was I wanted to pursue, the trainers were also helpful with others needing more than one qualification for their role, being able to assist them with the right information or leeds to obtain those further qualification tickets.

If you identify as Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander and do not have enough ID to meet the 100 points requirement, you can present two official references from relevant agencies. For further information on this exemption, please contact us via email at admin@nwcc.edu.au or by phone at 1300 988 181.

It is essential to bring the correct ID requirements with you. This is one of the most important parts of the class. Please see our requirements sections, if you are unsure about what is needed and ensure you have the necessary ID for the course. If you didn’t provide your USI during enrolment, you will also need to bring that with you.

Apart from that, just bring yourself and a good attitude, and you are sure to leave with a white card, ready to work in construction. You only need to wear normal comfortable clothes and shoes; there’s no requirement to wear or bring any construction clothing or PPE to the class. Everything you need will be provided at the venue for use on the day.

The venue is located within the Raffles building. When you arrive at 1 Fitzwilliam St, you’ll see glass sliding doors, prominently displaying Swinburne University advertisements. Proceed through these doors and head towards the lift. Once you reach the lift, select level 3. Upon exiting at level three, turn right into Dymocks Tutoring where you will be shown the classroom.

The White Card course is held in the Raffles building, situated right next to Parramatta train station. We rent a room within Dymocks Tutoring. The course runs from 9am to 3pm, totalling six hours. You can find available dates on the White Card course calendar for the Parramatta location below.
