• What are the 100 points of ID that I need?

  In NSW, you are required to provide 100 points of ID. All documents must be original and issued in Australia. (Your passport may be from overseas.) Digital licences (e.g. Service NSW app) are accepted. If you are new to the country (been here less than 6 weeks) or a high school student, please scroll down as you are exempt from the 100 points.

  ImmiCards CAN NOT be used unless they are approved by SafeWork NSW directly. Please email us 48 hours in advance of your course if you seek approval to use an ImmiCard.

  Note: You must include at least one photo ID (e.g. passport, driver’s licence, photo card) your address and signature across the IDs used.

  Who’s Exempt from 100-Point ID?

  You do not need to present 100 points of ID if you fall into any of these categories:

  • New arrivals (in Australia for less than six weeks)
  • Current high school students
  • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

  Exemptions in Detail

  1. New Arrivals (Less Than 6 Weeks)

  Bring:

  • Passport or visa
  • Bank card or driver’s licence from your home country

  2. Current High School Students

  Bring either:

  • Your school ID
  • One of: driver’s licence, birth certificate, passport, or citizenship certificate with evidence you are in school. You must show the trainer you are still enrolled. This could be by logging in to your school portal. If you are unable to provide evidence you are in school, you need to provide 100 points.

  3. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Applicants

  If you lack sufficient ID, provide two official references from recognised agencies.

• What do I need to bring with me on training day?

  The correct ID is one of the most important requirements on the day. Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.

  If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to have that with you. You’ll need a stable internet connection, a laptop with a working camera and microphone.

  You’ll also need to have your own PPE ready to demonstrate over Zoom: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, High-Vis Vest, and Hearing Protection.

• What does the White Card Online NSW course cover?

  The White Card Online NSW course covers the essential knowledge and practical skills required to work safely on construction sites. You’ll learn how to identify common construction hazards, understand basic risk control measures, follow WHS responsibilities and recognise safety signs and site procedures.

  The course also covers reporting hazards and incidents, responding to emergencies, communicating safety information and selecting and using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.

  As the course is delivered through a live virtual classroom, you’ll interact directly with your trainer throughout the session. Training and assessment take place in real time, including trainer observation and verbal assessment as required for connected delivery in NSW.

• How is the online White Card course delivered?

  The course is delivered live via Zoom. Once you book, you’ll receive an email with your Zoom link, instructions, and everything you need to know to get set up.

• is the NSW White Card course 100% online?

  The online White Card course from National White Card Courses is 100% online. As long as you’re located in NSW and meet the ID and PPE requirements, you can complete it from home.

• How do I book an Online White Card Course in NSW?

  Booking is quick and easy.

  Before you start, make sure you have your USI (Unique Student Identifier) ready.

  • Need a USI? Go to usi.gov.au and click “Get a USI”.

  • Can’t remember it? Use the “Find my USI“ tool on the same site.

  How to Book

  1. Choose your preferred date.

  2. Pick a time that suits you.

  3. Click Enrol.

  4. Fill in your details and complete payment.

  Once you’re done, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your course date and everything you need to know for the day.

• Do you also offer in-person sessions at training venues in NSW?

  Yes, we also offer courses at 12 convenient locations across Sydney and regional NSW.

• Can I get RPL for this course?

  We do not offer RPL for any white card online course in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.

   

• Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

  You need an intermediate level of English to complete this White Card course online in NSW. You should be able to follow the trainer, understand safety instructions and communicate clearly during the session.

  This includes reading safety signs and short texts, completing written answers and forms, following verbal instructions, and understanding basic numeracy such as times, measurements and quantities.

  English does not need to be your first language, but you should be comfortable participating throughout the course and understanding the safety content.
