Our CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry course runs weekly at our Melbourne training centre, located in Victoria. The course gives you the essential knowledge to stay safe on site and is recognised across construction, civil, mining, logistics, and infrastructure projects.
Who Can Do the White Card Course in Melbourne
The simple answer: everyone can! As long as you’re 14 years or older and can meet the photo ID requirements, you’re eligible to complete the White Card course. What do I need to bring with me on training day?
Bringing the correct ID is essential — it’s one of the most important requirements on the day.
Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.
If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to bring that with you.
Other than that, just bring yourself and a positive attitude.
You’re not required to wear or bring any construction gear or PPE — standard, comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are fine.
All necessary equipment and materials will be provided at the venue.
You’ll be fully prepared to complete your course and walk away with your official White Card immediately after you have finished.
How do I find the Melbourne venue?
Our office is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk from Flinders Street Station. The building entrance can be found on Swanston Street, immediately to the right of Krispy Kreme Donuts
Parking & Transport?
Its highly advised you get the train to the venue as we are only 100m from Flinders St Station. Should you decide to drive, consider early bird parking options.
Some providers offer rates ranging from $20 to $30, but bookings must typically be made in advance, and strict timing conditions usually apply. Due to the frequent changes in pricing and policies, we are unable to provide specific parking recommendations.
As we write this Wilson St parking on Flinders Lane has drive in parking for a fixed rate of $30. This car park is only 50m from the venue.
How do I book a White Card Course in Melbourne?

We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
