FAQ About White Card Training in Adelaide

• What is the ID that I need?

  Identification Requirements for White Card Online Adelaide

  South Australia’s White Card is simple when it comes to ID. All you need to bring is one form of official photo ID. This can include 

  • Australian drivers license
  • proof of age card
  • passport (Australian or international)
  • ImmiCard
  • Boat license
  • High Risk Work license
  • School ID card

• What do I need to bring with me on training day?

  Bringing the correct ID is essential — it’s one of the most important requirements on the day.

  Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.

  If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to bring that with you.

  Other than that, just bring yourself and a positive attitude.

  You’re not required to wear or bring any construction gear or PPE — standard, comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are fine.

  All necessary equipment and materials will be provided at the venue.

  You’ll be fully prepared to complete your course and walk away with your official White Card immediately after you have finished.

• How do I find the Adelaide venue?

  We are opposite Adelaide Railway Station at Level 3/144 North Terrace, Adelaide SA 5000

• Parking & Transport?

  Parking is challenging always in the city. Please do your research and find a cheap car park before driving in. We highly advise getting the train to the venue. We are only 50m from the exit of Adelaide Railway Station.

• Can I get RPL for this course?

  We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.

   

• Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

  To successfully complete the White Card course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry), all students must have a basic level of English language, literacy and numeracy. This ensures you can understand safety information and participate safely in the training.

  You must be able to:

  Read and understand simple safety signs, instructions, and short texts

  Write basic information, such as completing forms and short written answers

  Communicate clearly in English with the trainer and other participants

  Follow verbal instructions during activities and assessments

  Understand simple numeracy, such as reading times, basic measurements, or quantities related to safety

  If English is your second language

  You must have a level of English that allows you to fully participate in the course. If you are unsure, please contact us and we can help assess whether this course is suitable for you.
