Our CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry course runs daily over our virtual classrooms (Zoom). The course gives you the essential knowledge to stay safe on site and is recognised across construction, civil, mining, logistics, and infrastructure projects.
Who Can Do the White Card Course Online in QLD
As long as you’re 13 years or older and can meet the photo ID requirements, you’re eligible to complete the White Card course. To do it over Zoom you must have a reliable laptop and all your own PPE for the practical.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an Australian citizen, visa holder, or new migrant — anyone can attend and get certified. Its highly recomnded you speak english confidently to do the course online in QLD over zoom

What is the ID that I need?
In QLD you must present 3 forms of ID. One must be a photo ID. The ID can be from Australia or NZ.
If you are on a visa, you can use your overseas ID but one of the 3 items used must be your visa.
That’s the Simple way to understand the ID requirements. Everyone need three things. To see the official ID requirements you can read below.
Identification Requirements for White Card in Queensland
1 – If you are in Australia on a Visa. You can use your Visa, Passport and one other ID document from your home country
2 – If you are a student in High school you can use your School ID and one document from the category A or B below
3 – If you do not fall into either category above you must follow the standard ID requirements that are listed below
ID Requirements (essential that is is in original format and not photos): RTO must sight, three matching, original, evidence of identity (EOI) documents before undertaking GCIT. Please see the list of acceptable documents below. Please note that it is essential for your ID to be original and from Australia (your passport can be foreign).
The EOI documents must comprise either: • One (1) Category A document and two (2) Category B documents, or • Two (2) Category A documents and one (1) Category B document.
At least one Category A document must be photographic and show the person’s full name.
At least one Category A or B document must show the person’s date of birth and signature.
Category B documents must be Australian-issued documents.

• Australian Birth / Bicentennial Birth Certificate (born in 1988) – full (not Extract or Commemorative Certificate)
• Australian Citizenship Certificate / Naturalisation Certificate
• Department of Home Affairs (DHA) – Certificate of Evidence of Resident Status – Visa Evidence Card (with PLO56 Visa)

What do I need to bring with me on training day?
Having the correct ID is essential — it’s one of the most important requirements on the day.
Please review our ID Requirements section before attending to ensure you have the right documents.
If you didn’t supply your USI (Unique Student Identifier) at enrolment, you’ll also need to have that with you.
You’ll need a stable internet connection, a laptop with a working camera and microphone.
You’ll also need to have your own PPE ready to demonstrate over Zoom: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, High-Vis Vest, and Hearing Protection.
How is the online White Card course delivered?
The course is delivered live via Zoom. Once you book, you’ll receive an email with your Zoom link, instructions, and everything you need to know to get set up.

Yes. The QLD online White Card course is 100% online. As long as you’re located in NSW and meet the ID and PPE requirements, you can complete it from home.

Can I get RPL for this course?
We do not offer RPL for any white card courses in Australia due to state regulations. You must attend the white card course to get a white card.
Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
To successfully complete the White Card course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry), all students must have a basic level of English language, literacy and numeracy. This ensures you can understand safety information and participate safely in the training.
You must be able to:
Read and understand simple safety signs, instructions, and short texts
Write basic information, such as completing forms and short written answers
Communicate clearly in English with the trainer and other participants
Follow verbal instructions during activities and assessments
Understand simple numeracy, such as reading times, basic measurements, or quantities related to safety
If English is your second language
